Side effects of rTMS
Transcranial magnetic stimulation is a safe procedure. It’s not invasive which means there’s no surgery involved. It is painless. There are minimal side effects which are rarely seen and these include scalp tenderness, tingling around the scalp, lightheadedness, and mild headache. These symptoms usually occur soon after the procedure and don’t last long. Also, the side effects decrease overtime as sessions progress.
